Personal Support Worker (PSW)

Assisted Living-Richmond Hill

Full Time | 7:00am to 7:00pm | 77 Hours Bi-Weekly

12-Hour Shift, Including Alternate Weekends

CHATS is seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our Assisted Living team in Richmond Hill. In this rewarding role, you will support older adults in maintaining their independence, dignity, and quality of life while living safely in the community.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living and safety needs
- Observe and report changes in clients' physical, emotional, or cognitive well-being
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication with the care team
- Promote independence while ensuring client comfort and dignity
- Travel within the community to provide care and support services

Qualifications

- Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate required
- Current First Aid and CPR certification required
- Vulnerable Sector Check required
- Valid Ontario Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle required
- Experience supporting seniors in a community or healthcare setting preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

- Additional language(s) are considered an asset
- Fluency in English and French is considered an asset
- Experience working in Assisted Living or community-based care
