Bayshore Medical Personnel is excited to announce a full-time contract opportunity for a Pharmacy Assistant to join the team in Valcartier, QC. This role offers Monday‑Friday day shifts only, no nights or weekends.
Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Assistant will assist in providing pharmacy services such as compounding, packaging, and labeling pharmaceutical products, maintaining prescription records, and conducting inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products.
Qualifications
Minimum of three (3) years of Pharmacy Assistant experience within the last five (5) years, providing direct patient care in a clinical setting such as a hospital or community setting.
- Current certificate of Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider or equivalent.
- Diploma in a Pharmacy Assistant or Pharmacy Technician program from a post‑secondary school (solid asset).
- Current N95 mask fit certificate CSA Standards Z94.4 (within 2 years).
- Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) Certification (within 2 years).
