Under the general supervision of the Coordinator, Pharmacy Services or designate, you will assist with medication dispensing by measuring, non‑sterile compounding, packaging, and distributing medications. You will maintain stock levels and perform clerical duties as assigned. assists in distribution to patient care units and maintains appropriate records.





Compounds non‑sterile pharmaceutical products according to established protocols. Repackages medications into unit‑of‑use format; maintains records of medication selection accuracy and quality assurance reviews. Maintains pharmacy department inventory and wardstock quantities; distributes and maintains relevant inventory, transfer and wardstock delivery records. stocks pharmaceuticals, labels, containers, and glassware according to established procedures.

Performs related clerical duties such as answering telephone, filing, and maintaining medication and prescription records. Education, Training and Experience Grade 12 and graduation from a recognized Pharmacy Assistant course or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
