Position Information

Temporary position until approximately June 19, 2027.

Rotation/Shifts

Days,evenings and nights, including weekends, 8 hour shifts.

Basic Requirements

- Diploma in a Pharmacy Technician Program from a recognized College of Applied Arts and Technology OR certification as a Pharmacy Technician by the Ontario College of Pharmacists;
- Experience working with word processing, spreadsheet and database applications;
- Knowledge of purchasing and supply management;
- Valuable written and verbal communication skills;
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Eligible to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

- Proficiency in English and French oral expression (level 4 - advanced) and comprehension (level 4 - advanced).

The Ottawa Hospital uses a 5-level language proficiency scale to define the required level of language skills in English and in French for positions at the Hospital, and to evaluate job candidate language skills.
