New or Replacement Position: Replacement Site: Princess Margaret Cancer Centre Department: Pharmacy Wage Range: $32.32 to $37.26 per hour (start rate is non-negotiable and in accordance with collective agreement requirements) Shifts: Mon-Fri, Days/Evenings/Weekends/Statutory Holidays/On Call Temporary Full-Time (End Date ~ September 30, 2027) As an integral member of the Pharmacy Services Inpatient Operations Team, the Pharmacy Technician is responsible for the following:



Independently performing all technical aspects of prescription preparation including compounding and dispensing responsibilities, as per master worksheets Ensuring patient information is updated and maintained in the pharmacy computer system Attending, participating and assisting in staff and patient training/educational functions Completion of a Pharmacy Technician Program at an accredited college or recognized equivalent required Registration as a Pharmacy Technician (Part A) in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists required Ability to work under minimal supervision and to manage competing priorities Previous hospital experience with unit dose system and intravenous admixture service, preferred Government organization and a member of the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP A flexible work environment Additional perks (multiple corporate discounts including: travel, restaurants, parking, phone plans, auto insurance discounts, in office gyms, etc.) At University Health Network (UHN), artificial intelligence technologies may be used to assist in the screening, assessment, and selection of candidates for this position.
