Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Physiotherapist role based at our clinic in Kitchener, ON. The Physiotherapist will assess clients’ physical conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver manual therapy, exercise prescription, and education to support recovery and performance goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting initial and follow-up assessments, documenting treatment notes, monitoring progress, and adjusting care plans to align with client needs and current best practices.
The role also involves liaising with other healthcare and fitness professionals when appropriate, maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment,
and contributing to client engagement through clear communication and professional conduct. Some flexibility in scheduling may be required to accommodate client appointments during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physiotherapist in Ontario, with good standing in the relevant regulatory college.
- Strong skills in musculoskeletal assessment, treatment planning, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise prescription.
- Ability to educate clients on injury prevention, rehabilitation principles, and self-management strategies in clear, accessible language.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-centered, inclusive, and non-judgmental approach to care.
- Solid clinical reasoning, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing career development.
- Experience working in private practice, sports, or orthopedic settings is an asset.
- Comfort using electronic medical records and basic clinic management software.
- Availability to work part-time hours on-site in Kitchener, ON, including some evenings or weekends as needed.
- Relevant university degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent), with additional certifications in manual therapy, sports rehabilitation, or performance training considered an advantage.
