Echo NDE is currently seeking a Pipeline Integrity Technician to support our PLI division across Western Canada and the United States. Locate, identify, and interpret pipeline flaws utilizing various NDE inspection methods. Ability to perform various examinations on live natural gas or liquid pipelines.

Review of pipeline integrity inspection report, including assisting other pipeline integrity technicians with reporting. Set up, calibrate, and maintain inspection equipment. Conduct inspections on parts, following procedures established for specified inspection task being performed.

Assist with various other inspection tasks. Organize and report inspection results & communicate results to the responsible engineer. Interpret, process, and correlate inline inspection data. Adhere to all company quality and safety policies and procedures.

CGSB Ultrasonic Testing (UTII) certificate. CGSB Magnetic Particle Testing (MTII) certificate. PCN PAUT Level 2 or equivalent. Knowledge of the pipeline industry and, more specifically, pipeline integrity inspections required.

Ability to manage and organize large and varied amounts of data. Be able to communicate clearly in writing and verbally (English). Be able to pass a vision and color detection test. Possess a valid driver’s license minimum (class 5) with a clean driving record.
