The Pricing and Analytics Specialist is responsible for executing data-driven pricing strategies that align with our business goals. This role combines analytical expertise and strategic thinking to optimize revenue, profitability, and market competitiveness. This role requires collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze pricing performance, evaluate market trends, and recommend actionable strategies to leadership.
This is a high-impact position for a professional who thrives on turning data into actionable insights to drive growth. ( This role is expected to be a 12-18 month contract assignment. )

Data Analytics
Analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends and to understand pricing performance, profitability, and elasticity.
Collaborate with finance and sales teams to gather data and insights.
Promotion effective analysis, inclusive of ROI calculations and elasticity
Process and Tool Implementation
Introduce or manage pricing tools, software, and automation solutions.
Establish pricing governance, approval workflows,
and performance tracking mechanisms.
Market Research Conduct competitive pricing analysis to identify market trends and pricing opportunities and conduct competitive benchmarking
Assess customer willingness-to-pay through surveys, A/B tests, and behavioral data. Partner with sales, marketing, and product teams to align pricing strategies with go-to-market efforts.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, data science, or a related field
Advanced degree (MBA, master’s in analytics) is a plus but not required
Experience with Python and SQL required
Strategic Thinking and Planning capability and experience: ability to see the big picture and connect pricing decision to broader business goals.
PROS, Vendavo, Zilliant, Python) and analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL).
Advanced user of PBI with the ability to build reports on given databases.
Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook) with emphasis on Excel
Proven ability to present complex data insights and strategies to diverse audiences.
Proven Project Management experience
Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
Occasional travel as needed for conferences, trainings, or key meetings.
