Join FNHA as a Primary Care Registered Nurse in Matsqui, BC, delivering compassionate, trauma-informed healthcare to First Nations communities. You will utilize a depth of understanding in cultural principles as you provide exceptional primary care services and address client health needs. With a focus on holistic wellness, you'll help create an inclusive and safe healthcare space for First Nations patients, drawing on both Western and Indigenous practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and document patient health and conditions
- Provide culturally sensitive healthcare services
- Coordinate team-based care initiatives
- Engage in health promotion and education
- Foster team-oriented approaches in service delivery
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or similar qualification
- Active registration as a Registered Nurse
- 3 years’ experience in community health
- Training in cultural humility and anti-Indigenous racism
- Class 5 BC Driver’s License required
