Wheatland Elementary School is a Kindergarten to Grade 6 school with approximately 220 students. Their Mission Statement is “Lead with confidence, Learn without limits, and Love who you are.”

Preference will be given to applicants with the following qualifications:

- Master's Degree in Education
- Proven success and experience as a school administrator
- An understanding of key initiatives in education including site-based leadership
- Evidence of educational leadership, initiative and positive interpersonal relations with staff members, parents, and community members
- Evidence of the ability to work effectively within a collaborative decision-making setting and to promote a positive organizational culture.
