Reporting to an Investigations Manager, the Private Investigator, Surveillancewill be responsible for conducting thorough and detailed covert surveillance investigations both by vehicle and/or on foot. You are an individual who is enthusiastic and positive, a self-starter and quick learner with an ability to demonstrate patience and persistence, ensuring quality services to our clients and customers. Conduct assignments in a proper investigative sequence including pre-operation planning, assignment assessment, evidence collection, and reporting.





Obtain professional quality video and photographic documentation of subjects. Obtain information or intelligence in a legal, ethical, and confidential manner as required. Attend court or legal proceedings as required.

Post-secondary education or equivalent combination of post-secondary education and relevant work experience with preference given to candidates with a minimum of 2 years of field surveillance investigative experience.

Experience in law enforcement is an asset. A valid Private Investigator License within the applicable province of employment. Knowledge of all levels of the Canadian court system, criminal and civil code in Canada, insurance law, and privacy legislation is an asset.

An understanding of threat risk assessments and analytics. A strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially with Word and Excel. We serve a diverse population across Canada and are committed to reflecting that diversity within our workforce.
