About the Role

Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator to join their purchasing department in Kimberley . Working within a hybrid model, you will play a key role in supporting the procurement process by managing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and maintaining accurate procurement records. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a foundational understanding of procurement principles who wishes to grow their career in supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate the processing of purchase requisitions and the issuance of purchase orders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers regarding order status, delivery inquiries, and issue resolution.
- Maintain comprehensive and organized records of all procurement transactions, contracts, and vendor information.
- Assist in tracking inventory levels and ensuring timely replenishment of supplies.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand their purchasing needs and provide updates on order progress.




- Support the procurement team with administrative tasks, including data entry and report generation.

Requirements

- Previous experience in an administrative, coordination, or purchasing support role.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with suppliers and colleagues.
- Familiarity with procurement software and principles is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage tasks efficiently and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
