K-Hart designs and manufactures innovative agricultural equipment for progressive farmers across North America. We are seeking a practical, hands-on Product Design Engineer to support new product development, product improvement, and manufacturing.

Requirements

- Located in the Winnipeg region and able to work on-site in Oak Bluff, MB.
- Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering Degree or Technology Diploma.
- 5+ years of mechanical design experience in agricultural equipment, heavy equipment, industrial equipment, or similar manufactured products.
- Strong 3D CAD skills (Onshape experience is an asset).
- Experience with welding, machining, fabrication, and assembly processes.
- Working knowledge of GD&T; and engineering drawing creation.
- Comfortable spending time in the shop, supporting production, and validating designs on the manufacturing floor.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willing to travel up to 10% of the year.

What You'll Do
- Design and develop agricultural equipment and engineered components.




- Create and maintain CAD models, engineering drawings, and product documentation.
- Support prototype builds, testing, and product validation.
- Collaborate with manufacturing to improve quality, serviceability, reliability, and ease of assembly.
- Investigate field and production issues and develop practical solutions.
- Participate in continuous improvement and product development initiatives.

What We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate is a practical, engineer who enjoys turning ideas into products. You are equally comfortable reviewing a CAD model, discussing a design with a supplier, troubleshooting a problem in the shop, or speaking directly with customers and operators in the field.
