The Business

Analyst will support due diligence, portfolio monitoring, and investment analysis by ensuring the integrity and accuracy of land, mineral, and royalty data. This role bridges technical data management and business decision-making — combining analytical skills with cross-functional collaboration across geoscience, legal, finance, and engineering teams. Collect, validate, and integrate land, lease, title, deed, mineral, and royalty ownership data into internal databases, GIS, and land systems.

Lead and/or support data analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation efforts across cross-functional teams to support business operations and strategic initiatives. Support data mapping, reporting, KPI development, and data quality initiatives across systems and workflows. Partner with business, IT, and vendor teams to drive alignment, testing, implementation, and continuou improvement.

Proven experience supporting business, data, or operational workflows in a complex organization.



Strong proficiency in Excel for data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and reporting involving large or complex datasets. Working knowledge of SQL for querying, validating, and analyzing structured data and Master Data Management.

Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new business domains, systems, and content structures to support cross functional needs.

Experience documenting business processes, requirements, data definitions, and workflow logic in a clear structured, and reusable manner (e.g., Ability to draft clear, qualified stakeholder communications, including project updates, process guidance, and status summaries.
