Product Manager – HVAC and Gas Detection Greystone Energy Systems is seeking an experienced and strategic Product Manager – HVAC & Gas Detection to join our growing team in the Ottawa Region. This is an exciting opportunity for a product management professional who is passionate about innovation, customer-driven solutions, and advancing the future of building automation, HVAC sensing, and gas detection technologies. From business case development through product launch and mass production, you will work cross-functionally with Engineering, R&D;, Operations, Sales, and Marketing to deliver market-leading solutions that support smart buildings, energy efficiency, and indoor air quality. Support the strategy development and lifecycle of Greystone’s product portfolio—from Business Case preparation to Mass Production Work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver market-leading solutions. and execute product strategy and multi-year roadmap for HVAC solutions (temperature, humidity, CO₂, pressure, airflow, occupancy, IAQ) Gather and translate customer and market insights (VOC) into business cases and Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) Lead product development with Engineering, R&D;, Operations, Sales, and Marketing as a member of cross-functional team Manage the full product lifecycle,



including launches, improvements, and end-of-life planning Act as a subject matter expert in building automation and HVAC sensing; Education, Training &

Experience A university degree or college diploma in a related technical field is preferred Product management training International business exposure 5–10 years of product management experience (preferably in HVAC, electronics, or building automation) ~ Strong expertise in HVAC controls, HVAC sensing technologies, Gas detection and abuilding automation systems (BAS) ~ Experience leading cross-functional product development in a manufacturing environment ~ Understanding the customer, practicing market analysis and segmentation ~ Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Power BI, and ERP systems (Syspro) ~ Competitive salary + performance-based bonus Career development and training opportunities At Greystone Energy Systems, we believe that diversity drives business success.
