To learn more about Atlantia, please visit www.atlantia.ca About the Job The Product Specialist will be responsible for defining and managing the LOGiiX (www.logiix.ca) product roadmap & financial targets within all product categories and will manage product life cycles. This role offers hands-on responsibility for developing and bringing products to market, while working closely with the project management team to manage products throughout their lifecycle and ensure they meet established quality, financial and ROI targets.

The Product Specialist will lead cross-functional collaboration throughout the product lifecycle, working closely with product development, logistics & operations, design and marketing teams.





Key Responsibilities

- Develop a deep understanding in the mobile, tablet & computer accessories categories, their consumers and the overall consumer tech industry
- Lead weekly NPI meetings with cross-functional teams (design, marketing, supply chain) to ensure cross functional alignment on development and launch of new product; proactively communicate any changes to product plan and ensure product positioning, key advantages and target customer are clearly defined
- Define product requirements with prioritized features and corresponding justification
- Manage regulatory product certifications for all products & categories
- Manage vendor relationships – this will include regular vendor meetings, coordinating sample needs, factory audits, data collection & other related tasks
- Work closely with the project management team to manage product lifecycles from inception to end of life
- Work closely with the product analysis team to identify, define the product strategy and roadmap through market research
- Monitor product performance against established sales, margin, financial and ROI targets.
- Support pricing decisions by evaluating product costs, competitive pricing, market positioning and target margins.
- Conduct post-launch reviews to evaluate product performance and identify opportunities for improvement.




- Identify opportunities for product innovation and product enhancements, fueled by insights, data and category progression
- Identify key competitors, evaluate pricing & market trends in each product category
- Regularly visit retailers to understand the on-shelf landscape of product lines and competitive positioning
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

'Must-haves'

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in the field of Business, Marketing or a similar business degree
- 1-2 years direct work experience in product management for consumer/retail products
- Knowledge & passion for the tech industry
- Experience working with overseas manufacturers or vendors
- Ability to follow through, prioritize & manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Able to deliver accurate work with a fine attention to details
- Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally
- Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism
- Loves working in an open-door team environment
- Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and an egoless nature
- Self-motivated, open-minded, passionate, empathetic and fun!

'Good-to-haves'
- Experience developing products for iPhone and other iOS devices
- Visual acuity for color and fine detail due to color finish and material detail decisions
- Familiarity with product certification and regulatory requirements
