In this position, you will help create visually stunning scenes and collaborate with Art and Engineering to solve technical problems.

Work closely with Art, Cinematic, and Technical Art teams to create industry-leading visuals across various environments. Craft compelling lighting that supports story, art direction, and gameplay objectives. Translate conceptual illustrations into real-time lighting visuals.

Collaborate with Art and Technical Art teams to address technical challenges within constraints. Seek feedback and communicate effectively with Art Directors, Lighting Lead, Cinematic Director, and other departments. 5+ years’ experience in video game or film production.



~ A portfolio demonstrating strong understanding of lighting, composition, and color. ~ Experience with Unreal Engine 4 or 5, Frostbite, Snowdrop, or similar game engines (preferred). ~ Knowledge of real-time lighting principles (dynamic lighting, sub-surface scattering, HDR, SSAO, SSGI, PBR), atmospherics, and post-processing. ~ Background in photography, cinematography, and lighting is a plus. ~ Salary Range: CAD $112,000 - $116,000 annually, depending on factors such as location, skills, education, and experience.
