We’re looking for a Production Team Leader to join our Athabasca OSB Division , located in Slave Lake, Alberta . Thisstate-of-the-art facilityhas the longest continuous press in North America, giving us the ability to produce a diverse range of cutting-edge products for customers around the world. Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications: ~ Completion of Grade 12. ~ Completion of post-secondary education in Engineering, Wood Sciences, or a related program is an asset. ~ Demonstrated focus on safety. ~ Strong organizational and planning skills. ~ Excellent communication skills. ~2-3 years experience leading a team.

Completion of a supervisory or leadership certificate isan asset. ~3-5 years experience in a manufacturing setting (wood products manufacturing preferred). ~ Experience in a shiftwork setting and continuous press experience is an asset. ~ Working knowledge of Microsoft Word , Excel , and Outlook .

In this role you will: Lead by example and set the bar for those around you on all things safety. Inspire and coach your team to achieve results. Work within and across teams to meet production targets, budgets and managing staffing levels .

Identify and report on any maintenance and safety issues. Find solutions and meet goals. Optimize productivity and recovery. So,

You’ll earn a competitive salary based on your skills and experience. The expected base salary range for this position is $80,250 to $107,000 per year . You’ll earn an additional northern allowance on top of your base pay.
