About The Kelty Foundation The Kelty Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting youth mental health through school-based programming and community engagement initiatives. Our office is located in Vancouver.

Position Overview The Program Assistant plays a key role in supporting the Foundation’s programs, school partnerships, events, and day-to-day administrative operations. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, tech-comfortable, and excited to contribute to a small, mission-driven team.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 9AM - 5PM, with a combination of in-office located in Vancouver and remote (typically 2-3 days in-office in Vancouver and the rest remote)

Key Responsibilities

Program & School Coordination

- Coordinate with schools on program and workshop logistics, scheduling, and communication
- Prepare program materials and coordinate printing and delivery
- Assist with program material and content updates

Events Support

- Serve as point of contact for third-party fundraisers
- Support event planning, materials, and on-site/day-of logistics (evenings/weekends as required)

Marketing & Communications
- Manage the social media content calendar, create graphics in Canva, and engage with our online community
- Collect photos and stories from events for use in content and newsletters
- Create newsletters and email workflows using Blackbaud

Administrative & Operations
- Manage general office administration — email inquiries, meeting scheduling, and notes




- Support donor and registration systems, including data entry and reporting (Blackbaud)
- Coordinate ordering and delivery of donor gifts and thank-you cards
- Maintain website content (Squarespace) and organized digital files
- Support additional administrative, operational, and ad hoc tasks and errands as needed

Qualifications & Skills

- Strong organizational, writing, and communication skills
- Comfortable learning and working with digital platforms (Google Workspace, Monday, Blackbaud, OneCause, Squarespace, Canva)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a small team workplace
- Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Flexibility to support occasional evening/weekend events
- Experience in the nonprofit sector is an asset
- Access to a computer and a vehicle is an asset

Compensation: $25 per hour (full-time, 40 hours a week) and a comprehensive benefits package
