About Justice For All Canada

Justice for All Canada is a human rights and advocacy organization that defends Muslim minority rights, challenges global Islamophobia and genocide, and advances accountability. Our work supports minorities experiencing state-imposed violence and discrimination, such as Rohingya, Uyghur, Kashmiri, Palestinian, Sri Lankan Muslim, Indigenous, and other communities facing persecution and systemic injustice. We advance human rights through public education, campaign actions, research, coalition work, media engagement, and advocacy.

Position Summary

Justice for All Canada is seeking an experienced and highly organized Program Manager to support the delivery of our human rights campaigns.

The Program

Manager will monitor campaign developments, coordinate and launch organizational responses, create and manage campaign workplans, and produce accessible materials. The role will work closely with policy, media, marketing, education, and community relations teams. A substantial part of the position will involve implementing a major Media accountability initiative. The ideal candidate is a strong writer and dependable project manager. They can independently advance deliverables in a fast-paced human rights workplace while maintaining accuracy and sound judgment.

Primary Responsibilities

Campaign Management

- Manage day-to-day implementation of genocide-prevention and human rights campaigns.
- Monitor human rights developments, emerging issues and opportunities for public action.
- Develop, execute, and track campaign plans, workplans, timelines, and public rollout strategies in close collaboration with policy, media, marketing, education, and community relations teams.
- Prepare action alerts using NewMode, statements, campaign pages,



advocacy resources, and public education materials.
- Support organizational events, webinars, press conferences, community briefings, and public actions.
- Maintain relationships with civil society groups, community partners, and collaborators.

Media Watch

- Lead day-to-day implementation of a Media Watch research and accountability initiative.
- Coordinate development of research reports, policy materials, media resources, and public campaign content.
- Monitor Canadian media coverage and identify harmful narratives, misinformation, and discriminatory framing.
- Collaborate with Media team members on correction requests, media advisories, public actions, and educational resources.
- Maintain records of media interventions, newsroom responses, corrections, and campaign outcomes.
- Help turn Media findings into public education, institutional engagement, and campaign action.

Communications and Reporting

- Regularly contribute campaign messaging and updates to organizational newsletters.
- Maintain accurate project records through Asana and Google Workspace.
- Prepare progress updates and documentation for organizational and funder reporting.
- Track project timelines, deliverables, and outstanding needs.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated, relevant experience in program management, campaigns, advocacy, communications, media accountability, or the nonprofit sector.




- Post-secondary education in political science, international development, human rights, public policy, communications, project management, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience will be considered.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects from planning through implementation.
- Excellent English writing, editing and verbal communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of foreign affairs and global human rights issues.
- Ability to monitor fast-moving developments and identify appropriate campaign responses.
- Strong time management and organizational skills with close attention to deadlines and details.
- Experience using Google Workspace, Asana, Meltwater, or similar project-management tools.
- Experience working with diasporic communities, grassroots organizations, and/or human rights coalitions.
- Strong cultural competence when working with, or developing awareness of, diverse communities affected by violence, human rights abuses, and systemic persecution.
- Sound judgment when handling sensitive human rights issues and confidential information.
- Commitment to Justice for All Canada’s mission and values.

Assets (good to have)

- Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
- Experience with media monitoring, media relations, or public-interest research.
- Experience developing newsletters, action alerts, statements, or advocacy campaign materials.
- Familiarity with Meltwater, New/Mode, or similar advocacy and media-monitoring platforms.
- Experience working with grant-funded projects.

Additional Requirements

- Ability to attend occasional organizational events and minimal travel within Canada when required.
