Complete comprehensive assessments to understand client needs and risks. Facilitate individual and group sessions and coordinate referrals to community resources. Work collaboratively with social workers, health professionals, and community partners.

Provide short-term, evidence-based counselling services as part of the INOC program. Oversee daily program operations, ensuring high-quality, compliant service delivery. Lead reporting, data collection, quality-improvement, and adherence to program policies.

Support financial stewardship by monitoring routine program expenditures. Co-lead hiring, onboarding, and ongoing staff training and development. Represent the INOC program internally and within the community.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, and EXPERIENCE: Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology or Social Work (preferred)



Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related social science field (required) Registered Social Worker designation with the BC College of Social Workers is an asset At least 1 year of supervision, mentorship, or coordination experience. Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience Expertise in risk assessment, crisis intervention, and safety planning. Solid understanding of Trauma-Informed, Strength-Based, Anti-Violent, and Resilience-Oriented practices.

Robust knowledge of community resources and referral processes in Kamloops. Excellent communication, documentation, and time-management skills.

Experience with case management, data collection, and reporting. Following training is required and provided to the successful candidate free of charge.

Existing certification is an asset: Background checks through the BC Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General is required.
