We are looking for a Development Buyer reporting to a Team Leader, Global Sourcing to help us develop our new products and support the supply chain at an operations level. As part of your role, you’ll contribute to the organization’s growth by expanding BRP’s product line through supply chain knowledge and developing business partnerships with suppliers. You will also be responsible for commercial management and negotiation of the organization’s best interests with the supplier network for production components.
Responsibilities
- Stakeholder in the development process of recent components in collaboration with engineering, the quality department, and strategic suppliers.
- Provide project management for component development from first prototypes to final part approval for mass production.
- Maintain the component development schedule, ensuring delivery in time for production start.
- Ensure parts availability for assembly of different generations of products under development.
- Negotiate and honor agreements with suppliers regarding delivery times, cost structure, raw material fluctuations, exchange rates, etc.
- Manage parts portfolio budget and regularly update cost prices.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Relevant experience or training in procurement, administration/engineering, or related fields.
- Bilingualism in French and English; fluency in Spanish is an asset.
- Strong organization, priority management, and project management.
- Excellent analytical and negotiating skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork ability.
- Interest in BRP products, manufacturing processes, and lean manufacturing.

Salary range: 98,900 to 148,300 per year.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
Start date: as soon as possible.
Position type: Permanent, full-time.
