The Project
Controller will join the Remediation Program Management team in Edmonton or Calgary, supporting the successful delivery of contaminated site projects by overseeing project cost, schedule, forecasting, risk, and performance reporting. The role works closely with Project Managers, Project Accountants, and project teams to ensure projects remain on track and aligned with business objectives. Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and schedules.
Monitor cost, schedule, and performance against approved baselines. Perform variance analysis and identify discrepancies between planned and actual performance. Support project setup, planning, estimating, and resource forecasting activities.
Prepare and maintain project performance reports, dashboards, and status updates. Assist with tracking project KPIs. Coordinate project review meetings and support governance processes. Monitor risks, issues, and changes, ensuring appropriate escalation when required.
Review work‑in‑progress, accounts receivable, invoicing status, and project financial health.
Collaborate with Project Managers and Project Accountants to update forecasts and implement corrective actions. Support budget re‑baselining, change management processes, and project closeout activities.
Ensure compliance with organizational project controls procedures and financial controls. Minimum 3 years of experience in project controls, project finance, cost control, scheduling, or project management support, preferably in environmental consulting.
Experience supporting small to large projects. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project management/reporting tools. Global community of brilliant minds offering mentorship and growth opportunities.
