Key responsibilities

- Define enterprise data architecture strategies aligned with client business objectives.
- Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for large-scale enterprise environments.
- Architect modern cloud-based data platforms and lakehouse solutions.
- Establish data governance frameworks, metadata management, master data management (MDM), and data quality standards.
- Design scalable integration patterns supporting real-time, batch, API, and event-driven architectures.
- Lead data modernization and cloud migration initiatives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
- Partner with Data Engineers, AI Engineers, Analytics teams, and Technology Architects to deliver integrated solutions.
- Guide architecture decisions around security, privacy, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Support the development of AI, machine learning, reporting, and advanced analytics capabilities through robust data foundations.
- Provide architectural leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance to project teams.
- Contribute to solutioning, estimation, client proposals, and thought leadership initiatives.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, Data Management, or related disciplines.
- Strong expertise in data modeling, data integration, data governance, and enterprise data architecture principles.
- Hands‑on experience with modern data technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse Analytics, Fabric, Redshift, BigQuery, or equivalent platforms.
- Strong SQL and data warehousing expertise.
- Experience with large-scale enterprise transformation programs.Strong stakeholder management and client-facing consulting skills.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

- Bilingualism (English and French).
- Experience with Data Governance and MDM platforms such as Informatica, Collibra, Reltio, Purview, or Alation.
- Exposure to AI, GenAI, machine learning, and advanced analytics architectures.
- Experience in regulated industries such as Financial Services, Public Sector, Utilities, Telecommunications, Transportation, or Healthcare.
- Relevant certifications in Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Databricks, Snowflake, or Data Architecture.
- Strategic thinking and problem solving.
- Executive-level communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders across business and technology functions.
- Strong consulting mindset with a focus on client value creation.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Quebec $141,000 min to $191,000
