Become a Protective Services Officer II at the Red Deer Regional Hospital, enhancing safety for patients and visitors. In this full-time role, you will be integral to the Protective Services team, responsible for security and protective services within the hospital.
Critical duties include monitoring violence, evaluating risks, and supporting facility departments with safety practices. Your ability to de-escalate conflict and enforce policies will foster a collaborative, diverse, and welcoming atmosphere for all. Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to security calls and Emergency Codes
- Create detailed documentation of incidents
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification
- Support internal investigations and asset loss prevention
- Establish positive relations with internal and external contacts
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Eligible for Community Peace Officer appointment
- Completion of Community Peace Officer Induction Training
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- P.A.R.E. completed under 4:45 minutes
