Your role will require meticulous attention to detail, along with 7 to 10 years of experience in industrial coating applications. You must have a solid understanding of marine surface preparation and be proficient in testing methods, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and industry standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-process and final visual inspections for compliance
- Perform tests on adhesion, coating thickness, and more
- Ensure accurate calibration of inspection tools
- Document non-conformances in the NCR database
- Provide expert recommendations for coatings and corrosion control
Requirements:
- AMPP Certified Coating Inspector certification preferred
- 7 to 10 years in industrial coating application
- Strong knowledge of naval coatings and safety protocols
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
- High attention to detail in inspections
