We are DECIEM, The Abnormal Beauty Company. We’re hiring a Quality Control Chemist II to help test, review, and release raw materials, packaging, bulk products and finished products. This is an on-site role based out of our Eastside Manufacturing Facility in Etobicoke.

Perform routine testing and review of raw materials, finished products, stability, and cleaning validation using various analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV Spectroscopy, wet chemistry, and TOC) Perform release of raw materials and finished products through the company ERP (Microsoft D365). Work collaboratively with production, compounding staff, R&D;, Inventory Control, Engineering, and Production planning to ensure product is manufactured according to standards. Maintain a high degree of accuracy in testing and data handling. 2 - 4 years of experience in a Quality Control Lab, Analytical Lab, or in an R&D; setting in the Pharmaceutical, Cosmetic, or Cannabis industries is an asset ~ Knowledge in a range of wet chemistry techniques and basic laboratory instrumentation (e.g., chemical and physical identification tests, limit tests, conductivity, density, pH, specific gravity, viscosity, etc.) ~ Previous experience with,
