About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous Quality Control Engineer to ensure the highest standards of quality for their chemical products in Kimberley . This role involves developing, implementing, and overseeing quality control systems and procedures throughout the manufacturing process. You will be responsible for testing raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods to verify compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and committed to maintaining product integrity and customer satisfaction in Kimberley .

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement robust quality control plans and procedures for chemical products.
- Perform routine testing and analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment used for quality testing.
- Investigate quality deviations and non-conforming products, implementing corrective and preventative actions (CAPAs).
- Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare quality reports,



Certificates of Analysis (CoAs), and statistical process control charts.

Requirements

- Degree in Chemical Engineering , Chemistry, or a related science discipline.
- 2-4 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within the chemical industry.
- Proficiency in analytical laboratory techniques and instrumentation.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and statistical process control (SPC).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills for reporting in Kimberley .
