The purpose of this role is to ensure products and processes meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations while leading continuous improvement initiatives. This position requires a balance of technical knowledge, leadership, and strategic thinking to manage daily quality issues while driving long-term process improvements and team development. Ensure all plant quality systems and practices comply with IATF and meet customer requirements.
Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality control systems, procedures, and documentation. Oversee internal and external audits of production processes, equipment, and personnel to maintain adherence to quality standards. Address customer concerns by establishing containment, conducting thorough investigations, identifying root causes, and executing effective corrective actions.
Manage supplier quality, including raw glass and component performance. Provide leadership, training, and performance management for quality team members. Work cross-functionally to prioritize and execute initiatives aligned with KPIs such as Internal PPM, External PPM, and Cost of Quality (COQ).
Champion Continuous
Improvement efforts across the organization. Ensure all required quality reports and documentation are accurate and submitted on time. Contribute to achieving overall plant performance goals and budget targets. Other duties as assigned by manager.

Promotes a learning culture through coaching, stretch opportunities, sharing expertise and providing honest and helpful feedback. Develops strategic plans for their part of the business by setting short and long-term goals and objectives.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field ~5+ years of relevant experience in an automotive manufacturing facility or Tier 1 supplier. ~ Proficiency in core quality tools: Experience in glass manufacturing or plastic injection molding.
Experience implementing or managing digital Quality Management Systems (QMS). Ability to develop and use digital dashboards and KPIs to monitor quality performance across operations. The salary range posted represents NSG Group/Pilkington Glass of Canada Ltd.'s good faith estimate of the expected compensation for this position at the time of posting.
Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the successful candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, education, internal equity, and business requirements.
