Responsibilities Safely work with an Operations crew to move railcars during switching, yard movements, and travel to customer facilities or interchanges

- Communicate professionally with customers, crew members, and railway partners to support safe operations
- Represent BWRS through a solid commitment to customer service, teamwork, and operational reliability
- Contribute to a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and accountability in the workplace
- Observe hand and radio signals in the yard in accordance with railroad rules and regulations
- Operate track switches as needed
- Perform procedures required to couple/uncouple rail cars
- Apply hand brakes on rail cars not in active use; and Ensure proper permissions and authorities are obtained.

Qualifications Minimum grade 12 diploma completion or GED equivalent

- Must have experience as a Conductor
- Must be in good physical condition; and Must have a clean and valid BC driver’s license, Class 5 minimum.
