Our client, a well-established organization serving the oil and gas industry, is seeking a driven and energetic Recruitment Coordinator to join their growing team in Red Deer, Alberta.

This role plays a critical part in attracting, recruiting, and retaining top talent for both field operations and corporate support functions. The successful candidate will be an organized and proactive professional with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage full-cycle recruitment activities for field and office-based positions
- Source, screen, and interview qualified candidates
- Develop and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
- Coordinate onboarding activities and support employee retention initiatives
- Assist with crew scheduling and workforce planning requirements
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers and operational leaders




- Ensure recruitment processes are aligned with company policies and employment standards
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and candidate communications

Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years (5 years preferred) of experience in HR, recruitment, or talent acquisition
- Strong understanding of recruitment strategies and sourcing techniques
- Experience with crew scheduling and workforce coordination preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a quick-paced environment
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting
- Experience recruiting within oil and gas, drilling, construction, transportation, or other heavy industrial sectors is strongly preferred
