Be a driving force in advancing sustainability as the Regional Manager for the Fraser Basin Council in Greater Vancouver. Manage and innovate key eco-certification programs within a hybrid work model. This permanent role focuses on enhancing sustainability efforts in the Greater Vancouver – Sea to Sky Region, emphasizing collaboration among diverse stakeholders.
You will oversee the successful implementation and development of programs like Salmon-Protected BC while ensuring alignment with organizational strategies for the environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement sustainability initiatives across the region
- Facilitate effective collaboration among stakeholders
- Manage budgets for eco-certification and related programs
- Recruit and lead program staff, interns, and volunteers
- Identify and cultivate funding opportunities for projects
Requirements:
- Degree in environmental or urban planning
- Significant experience in project management
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Familiarity with land use challenges in BC
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel
