Deliver safe administration of medication and treatments with a focus on accuracy, quality and meeting our residents’ quality of life requests. Follow plans of care (or service plans) in accordance with the standards of the College of Nurses and able to identify and report any changes in the resident’s well-being to the Charge Nurse or Village leadership team. Have an understanding of relevant policies, procedures, legislation, and regulations applicable to the Long-Term Care sector, including the Fixing Long-Term. Collaborate with the Neighbourhood Physician during weekly rounds and update care plans and directions accordingly. Have proficient communication and computer skills in order to update care plans in the current system. Understand the physical, mental, and emotional demands of the RPN role.
