Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)

Extendicare, a leading provider of care and services for seniors across Canada, is looking for a dedicated Registered Practical Nurse to join our Countryside Home in Sudbury. The role focuses on delivering personalised resident care, leading the personal care staff, and ensuring compliance with infection prevention and health & safety standards. Location: Countryside Home, Sudbury.

Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, review, and evaluate resident care plans to ensure effective and personalised care for each resident.
- Provide leadership to personal care staff by planning, directing, supervising, and evaluating their work.
- Assist in orienting and training new team members.




- Ensure all Infection Prevention & Control and Health & Safety programs are followed throughout the department.

Qualifications

- Current registration with the provincial College of Nurses.
- Compassion, professionalism, and respect; ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
