About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Remote Environmental Scientist to support their mining operations. Key Responsibilities

- Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIAs) for new and existing mining projects.

- Advise project teams on environmental best practices, mitigation measures, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of environmental management systems (EMS).

Requirements

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental consulting or management, with a focus on the mining sector.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and permitting processes in relevant jurisdictions.
- Proficiency in environmental data analysis and reporting software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple project tasks efficiently.
