About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Research Chemist with expertise in Analytical Chemistry to join their state-of-the-art laboratory in Kimberley. This role is essential for developing and implementing advanced analytical methods to support product development and quality control initiatives. You will work with a team of chemists and scientists, utilizing cutting-edge instrumentation to characterize materials, identify impurities, and ensure product integrity. Key Responsibilities

- Develop, validate, and implement analytical methods using techniques such as HPLC, GC-MS, ICP-MS, and spectroscopy.
- Perform routine and non-routine sample analysis to support research and development projects.
- Characterize raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure quality and compliance.
- Troubleshoot analytical instrumentation and methodologies,



ensuring optimal performance.
- Document experimental procedures, results, and conclusions in detailed reports.
- Collaborate with R&D; teams to provide analytical support and solve complex chemical challenges.

Requirements

- Ph.D. or Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in analytical method development and validation.
- Hands-on experience with a variety of analytical instruments, including chromatography and mass spectrometry.
- Robust understanding of chemical principles and quantitative analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a laboratory setting in Kimberley.
