Resident Manager / Caretaker Team (Kelowna) 114 Unit Rental Building 604 Real Estate employment type: full-time/Part Time Resident Manager and Caretaker Team We are actively looking for a motivated Resident Manager to live in office and manage a new rental building The Resident Manager and Caretaker team that will ensure excellent and responsive service to Resident requests, and provides a clean, well-maintained and secure building.

Supervise and maintain the building, including common areas, to ensure security and safety of all tenants, the employees and agents. Manages the rental process for tenants including all required paper work for the rental of suites, parking or storage lockers.

Facilitates credit and reference checks for prospective tenants. Create day to day operational reports and move-in and move-out reports for each tenant using the Condition Inspection Report. Manage all building maintenance requirements to the highest standards.

This includes cleaning, supervising contractors and logging work performed, and conducting minor repairs as necessary.



Regular and daily building inspections and makes recommendations for preventative maintenance. Notifies management concerning need for major repairs.

Keep proper books for the building as per accounting requirements, attends to the collection of all rent monies and other amounts receivable from tenants. Excellent computer skills a requirement for this modern building Must be able to live on-site Minimum of 2 years of related experience in Housekeeping or Building Management Experience with painting & maintenance repairs is an asset Excellent customer service skills A high standard of computer skills are required for programming and reporting Experience working safely with cleaning and other chemicals used in building operations. Ability to be flexible and self-motivated and to take initiative.

Ability to work a varied schedule including evenings and weekends. Must be a Resident of Canada or possess the appropriate documentation to legally work in Canada. A valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle would be an asset.

Must have good understanding of the English language.
