As a Resident Support Worker (RSW) at KGM, you oversee frontline activities, ensuring a safe workplace for individuals experiencing homelessness. From assisting residents with basic needs to supporting their transition, you play a vital role in upholding our core values of respect and dignity. Bay Ave operates an Overdose Prevention Site with supervised consumption. Handles the admission, orientation and evaluation of residents’ understanding of rules; ensures ongoing enforcement of policies

- Gather all equipment necessary and assist with meal services and light duty cleaning
- Coordinates resident care relating to security issues; may be directly involved in doing bed checks and room/personal searches
- Specialized training and certification in mental health, addiction, counselling or trauma is an asset
- Completion of High School Diploma as a minimum
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products
- This position is dependent on a Criminal Records Check (Vulnerable Sector).
