New or Replacement Position: Replacement Site: West Park Healthcare Centre Department: Respiratory Therapy Wage Range: $41.86 - $52.73 per hour.

Shifts: 12-Hour Shifts (Days/Nights, Weekends) Permanent, Part-Time The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is responsible for providing comprehensive respiratory assessments and management plans for patients with respiratory conditions. Our RRTs are front-line healthcare providers who provide respiratory therapy service 24/7 and work within multiple interdisciplinary teams throughout the Centre.



Care and management of mechanically ventilated patients with a tracheostomy in accordance with Centre’s guidelines and policies Tracheostomy tube management and oxygen therapy assessments/management Responsible to perform arterial blood gas sampling and analysis The RRTs will participate in student supervision, providing education and training to external partners.

RRTs are required to work a flexible schedule (days, evenings, nights and weekends) Graduate of an accredited program for Respiratory Therapy ~ Current registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario (CRTO). ~ Experience in Pulmonary function testing (PFT) is an asset ~Ability to work in an interdisciplinary healthcare team environment ~ Ability to work without direct supervision ~ Competent in a variety of computer skills including electronic medical record documentation Government organization and a member of the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP A adaptable work environment Additional perks (multiple corporate discounts including: travel, restaurants, parking, phone plans, auto insurance discounts, on-site gyms, etc.) Please be advised that a Criminal Record Check may be required of the successful candidate.
