Pay Type: Salaried

Pay Range: $92,300 to $103,500 (varies by experience, qualifications, skills and location)

Job Summary

The Account Manager in Sales and Account Management and Client Services oversees daily account activity and core service delivery to assigned clients. Responsibilities include managing day‑to‑day client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and retention, executing client‑specific operational deliverables, monitoring service trends, providing proactive consultation, and resolving issues. Performance is measured by client satisfaction and retention results. The role also assists in managing new accounts and products to ensure satisfaction, profitability, and contract renewal.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day‑to‑day client relationships through comprehensive knowledge of client benefit plans and ESC product offerings.
- Interact daily with clients, consultants and producers providing preventive consultation, analysis and issue resolution.
- Execute client benefit requests—benefit changes, product upsells, new groups, terminations and escalated issues—in a timely and accurate manner.
- Proactively monitor and identify service trends, collaborate on immediate resolution, and drive recovery efforts when needed.
- Accountable for new group and product implementations,



including leading internal meetings to ensure cross‑functional collaboration and adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Lead client‑centric team meetings to review operational performance against client expectations.
- Present operational performance metrics to clients monthly/quarterly, comparing with company benchmarks to promote satisfaction, retention and upsell opportunities.
- Collaborate with Account Management and Client Service teams on client strategic objectives and escalated service issues.
- Support special projects as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

- Post‑secondary education or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a business‑to‑business service relationship.
- Experience in Health Care Insurance and/or Benefits Industry is a solid asset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to influence and facilitate change management.
- Proven planning, time and resource management skills.
- Robust project management skills and strategic thinking.
- Superior interpersonal communication, collaboration, relationship building and influencing skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; bilingual (French and English) is an asset.
