As a leader, the Shift Manager oversees the flow of service to ensure the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed while delivering exceptional hospitality to guests and team members.

The Shift

Manager supports team recruitment, training, development, and performance management while identifying opportunities to improve productivity and operational efficiency. Manage the flow of service to ensure the highest levels of Safety, Cleanliness, Quality and Speed while simultaneously upholding Shack standards of hospitality in all interactions with Team Members and Guests. Manage the Hourly Team Member lifecycle - recruiting, selection, hiring and performance through training, development and growth plans and utilize progressive discipline when appropriate.

Deliver an uplifting Guest and Team Member experience that ensures loyalty through solid operational execution while identifying opportunities to improve throughput and productivity. Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a fast-paced restaurant, hospitality, or quick-service setting. Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills.





Commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, safety, and guest service. Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a positive team environment during busy shifts. Familiarity with food safety standards and workplace health and safety practices.
