Join Our Team as a Shop Manager at Epiroc! This role focuses on managing and shaping our workshop into highly safe and effective environment in which to create prototype battery-electric vehicles.
Pull electrical permits, complete work to code, and communicate with electrical inspectors
Create reports for new electrical installs, repairs, and upgrades
Work with high voltage & high current equipment and associated control systems
Work with inverters, motors, converters, and general electrical components such as contactors, relays, and batteries.
Work with control systems such as PLC, DCS, etc.
Create detailed wiring schematics and diagrams
Programing and trouble shooting PLCs
Arc flash training, calculations,
oversight
Welding, machining, fabricating work
Oversee health and safety in the shop
Manage shop technicians Manage technicians day-to-day
Responsible for technician’s work output and quality Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality Performance: Actively contribute to maintaining and improving safety, health, environmental, and quality standards within the organization.
