Summary
The Operating Room RN responsibilities include:
- RN independently cares for a sub‑specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
- RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
- RN is responsible for skilled accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
- RN also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned
This position requires a minimum of 2 years RN experience. For this position,
we strongly prefer at least 1‑year Operating Room experience as an RN for consideration.
