Work with EMCON SERVICES INC. as a Road Maintenance Winter Operator. Drive plow trucks and engage in essential winter road maintenance tasks across multiple locations. EMCON SERVICES INC. is looking for confident winter operators for their full-time winter season team.
This role primarily revolves around operating plow trucks while performing a variety of road maintenance duties, such as installing and repairing road signs and guiderails. A valid AB Driver’s Licence is essential, along with passing a pre-employment drug screening. Key Responsibilities:
- Drive plow trucks for snow removal
- Maintain and repair road signs and fences
- Support road maintenance activities in winter
- Install and maintain ditches and culverts
- Follow safety and operational guidelines
Requirements:
- Valid AB Driver’s Licence (Class 3 minimum)
- Class 1 AB Driver’s Licence preferred
- Clear drug screening results required
- Ability to handle equipment safely
- Solid attention to detail in maintenance work
