About the job RQ09219 - Business Analyst The Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee (OPGT) requires a Senior Business Analysts to assist with report development for the new data warehouse/lakehouse and associated data migration activities. As a member of the data migration and reporting team, you will be responsible to build and deliver modernized reports from the new data warehouse/lakehouse and assist with the data migration from the existing legacy applications to the new Dynamics 365 solution. Lead and conduct business and system analysis in respect to building the golden layer of the data lakehouse and modernized reports in PowerBI.. conduct gap analysis and provide recommendations.

Document report requirements in user stories in DevOps. Conduct analysis at varying levels of detail, appropriate to the project and phases of project, aligning with OPS standards. Liaise between Business Areas and the data migration and reporting team, to clarify business requirements and translate them into system and reporting requirements.

Conduct business modeling; conceptual and logical data modeling; process and data flow modeling; use case surveys; business rules definition and non-functional requirements definitions for assigned projects, including report requirements, screen specifications, business rules, data migration requirements, etc. Assist with identifying and resolving data quality issues, defining test cases, performing data reconciliation, and addressing any issues or discrepancies that arise during the testing phase; developing KPIs to report on the progress, completeness and quality of the reporting and data migration effort.

Ongoing Support: provide post-migration support, analyze and address data-related issues or questions; help with optimizing data management processes in the recent environment. Notify the Cluster/Ministry project Manager in writing of any issues or other material concerns related to the Assignment Deliverables, as soon as he/she becomes aware of them Comply with the Ontario Government I⁢ Directive, Operational Policy on the I⁢ Project Gateway Process, and other applicable Guidelines, Standards and Procedures. If the current statement of work expires on March 31, 2026, the remaining funds can be used to exercise an option to extend the SOW beyond March 31, 2026, based on business case approvals.
