Safety Supervisor

Penn-co Construction is a leading construction company currently hiring a Safety Supervisor to join our team working at our Steinbach and Winnipeg offices. As the Safety Supervisor you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working setting for all employees. This role requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to effectively communicate safety protocols across various departments.

Lead the safety team to ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.





Serve as the primary point of contact for all safety-related inquiries and concerns within the organization. Conduct site inspections, identify hazards, and implement solutions to mitigate risks. Develop and implement safety programs for employees and contractors.

Ensure that all safety equipment is properly maintained and used correctly. Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards. Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.

Stay up to date with industry safety standards and best practices. NCSO or equivalent certification from a recognized training institution. A Class 5 driver's license with willingness to travel. Proven experience working as a safety coordinator or advisor position in the construction field.

Strong knowledge of Canadian safety regulations and standards. Occasional travel to northern remote sites in Manitoba or Ontario. Check out website to see some of the exciting projects that we have completed and are currently working on!
