The Sales Development

Representative (SDR) drives early-stage pipeline growth by engaging prospects in consultative conversations, identifying hiring needs, and generating qualified opportunities through strategic outreach. Working closely with Account Executives, the SDR builds a solid pipeline and ensures smooth handoff for successful sales outcomes. Engage and qualify prospective customers through strategic outbound prospecting (calls, email, social), building trust and delivering value-based conversations.

Conduct discovery to understand customer needs, challenges, and goals, and position Appcast's solutions effectively. Generate and manage a pipeline of qualified leads, ensuring accurate tracking and strong alignment with ideal customer profiles. Partner closely with Account Executives and Marketing to drive effective outreach, ensure high-quality meetings, and support smooth opportunity handoff.

Meet or exceed prospecting and pipeline development targets through consistent, high-quality outreach Embrace and effectively utilize emerging technologies, including AI-powered tools, to enhance prospecting, research, outreach,



and operational efficiency Ability to qualify and prioritize high-quality opportunities Strong relationship-building skills Strong collaboration with sales partners CRM discipline and comfort with sales tools Demonstrated resilience in winning new accounts in complex environments Continuous improvement mindsetCompetitive drive Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field or equivalent practical experience ~1+ years of experience in a sales development, business development, customer-facing, or consultative role is preferred ~ Proven track record of high achievement in sales development preferred Travel Requirements ~ Occasional travel may be required.
