We are seeking a Sanctions Screening & List Management Analyst to join our team in Montreal. In this role, you will support and oversee sanctions screening activities, list management, and screening system enhancements while partnering with Compliance, Technology, and Operations teams across North America and Europe to ensure compliance with applicable sanctions regulations.

Responsibilities

- Act as a key representative for Sanctions Compliance initiatives involving the implementation, enhancement, and optimization of sanctions screening systems, including Fircosoft Continuity .
- Collaborate with Compliance and Technology teams globally on sanctions screening matters, including list management, screening rules, tuning, optimization, and exception management ("good guys").
- Provide oversight and guidance to Technology and Operations teams on sanctions screening processes, analytics, data governance, and list management practices.
- Identify potential screening gaps and recommend solutions to strengthen sanctions controls and monitoring frameworks.
- Support the development and implementation of process improvements, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and timely delivery.
- Develop, monitor, and report key performance metrics and management information for daily and monthly oversight reporting.
- Ensure sanctions screening activities align with OFAC, EU,



and other applicable sanctions regulations .
- Recommend and implement enhancements to screening rules, interdiction lists, and ongoing review processes to improve screening effectiveness.
- Participate in technology projects related to sanctions screening, system development, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Work closely with technical teams to translate regulatory requirements into operational and system solutions.

Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Compliance, Law, or a related field.
- Experience in Sanctions Compliance , including sanctions screening operations and regulatory requirements.
- Hands-on experience supporting Fircosoft screening applications , including list management, tuning, optimization, and exception management.
- Knowledge of OFAC sanctions regulations , sanctions screening processes, and list management frameworks.
- Experience managing or contributing to technology implementation, system enhancement, or compliance-related projects.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks and recommend practical solutions.
- Ability to communicate complex regulatory requirements to technology and operations teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills in a global, cross-functional environment.




- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English .
