Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP FI Production Support Consultant to support critical Finance operations in a large enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SAP FI, AP, GL, Fixed Assets, P2P, Banking, Financial Reporting, production troubleshooting, reconciliation, and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide L2/L3 production support for SAP FI and Finance applications.
- Support Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
- Troubleshoot SAP posting errors, batch/job failures, interface issues, and month-end close problems.
- Perform financial reconciliation, transaction analysis, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Support integrations with Concur, Coupa, EDI, IDocs, middleware, file transfers, and external financial systems.
- Monitor critical financial batch jobs and investigate job failures and dependencies.
- Analyze SAP and external-system data to identify discrepancies and processing issues.
- Work closely with Finance business users, technical teams, vendors, BASIS, infrastructure, and other support teams.
- Drive permanent solutions for recurring production issues.
- Follow ITIL-based Incident, Problem,



and Change Management processes.
- Support operational stability, business continuity, and month-end financial activities.

Required Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on SAP FI Production Support experience.
- Strong experience with AP, GL, Fixed Assets, P2P, Banking, and Financial Reporting.
- Solid production troubleshooting and incident management skills.
- Experience with financial reconciliation and RCA.
- Hands-on experience supporting SAP Finance integrations and interfaces.
- Knowledge of IDocs, EDI, middleware, file transfers, and external financial applications.
- Experience with batch processing, job scheduling, and job dependency analysis.
- Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in complex enterprise production-support environments.
- Familiarity with ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management.

Preferred Qualifications
- SAP FI Certification.
- Banking or Financial Services experience.
- Experience with Concur and/or Coupa integrations.
- Strong knowledge of SAP integration technologies and middleware.
- Experience supporting large enterprise Finance environments.
