Job Title: Scala Data Engineer
Location: Montreal,QC (Hybrid)
Job Type: Contract Position
We are looking for an experienced Scala Data Engineer to design and develop scalable data pipelines and distributed data processing solutions in a financial services environment.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering
- Robust hands-on experience with Scala and Apache Spark
- Excellent SQL and data transformation skills
- Experience with ETL/ELT and large-scale data pipelines
- Knowledge of Kafka, Hadoop/Hive, and distributed systems
- Experience with AWS, Databricks, or Snowflake is preferred
- Strong experience with Git, CI/CD, and Agile development
